Gotcha! Episode 1 is over

Congratulations goes out to David Barnes for winning this tournament. Dave was the last person standing, and also had the most kills for the game. As a prize, Dave wins 90% of the entrance fees, which totals $108. That is pretty good for only paying $5 to join!

We are considering doing the game again in the Spring. If you are interested or have suggestions on how to make the game better, please leave a comment!

It Begins...

We have 30 players. The game starts Monday, October 6th. Any guesses on how long the tournament will last?

We have added a new safe-zone to the rules - you cannot be eliminated at FHE. We don't want to keep people away from FHE so we made this rule. Don't accidentally reveal yourself by trying to eliminate your target while they are at FHE!

Gotcha! Tournament - Episode 1 - Old Farm

We are the Gotcha! Guys and we are in the process of organizing a game of Gotcha! (aka "Assassin") here at Old Farm. Not only is it a ton of fun, but it is a GREAT way to meet new people and learn lots of people's names! We have gotten a ton of response from people who say they want to play, so we hope that we can get a big group to actually play. Make sure you tell all of your roommates about Gotcha! and try to get everyone you know to play - it'll make it all the more fun!

If you are new to gotcha and want to know how people typically play, you can visit either of these two websites:

http://www.wikihow.com/Play-Assassin
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Assassin_(game)

Keep in mind however that our rules will vary slightly. To view a full list of our rules and how the game will work, please download the rules through the link at the top right (It will take to to a mediafire.com website where you will need to download from their link - We recommend that you download and read them now).

MAKE SURE YOU READ-OVER AND BECOME FAMILIAR WITH THE RULES BEFORE YOU DECIDE TO PLAY!!!

HOW TO JOIN
:
On either of the two dates below, come to Apartment B3 with the following items:

-$5 for your entrance fee (cash only). This helps us pay for all of
the supplies, and the winner(s) will take the entire pot!
     -A 2" x 2" picture of you - The picture should resemble a passport
photo (it MUST be a full head shot & have good visibility
      of your face)
-On the back of the photo write your name, phone number, email
      address, and apartment number.

All you'll need to do is turn in the above items and sign the waiver. It shouldn't take more than 5 minutes. We have setup the following schedule when we'll be in our apartment, and hopefully it will work for everyone's schedule that wants to play:

     -Tuesday, September 23rd between 9PM - MIDNIGHT
     -Wednesday, September 24th between 7PM - MIDNIGHT

If neither of these dates or time frames work for you, please email us at usugotchaguys@hotmail.com and we'll see if we can work something out with you.

We hope to see a ton of you excited to play, and lots of people join. I think we'll cap the limit of the number of players at 150, but we'll see what happens. I don't even know if we'll get close to that many, but hopefully we can get everyone excited about it! Leave us a comment or email us if you have any questions, or to tell us how excited you are to play!
